Designs by: Klint, Juhl, Wanscher, Ditzel Danish design in the 20th Century became a byword for beautifully designed yet simple looking furniture, perfectly suited for its purpose. It is everywhere, whether you know it or not – in the Sydney Opera House, the Finn Juhl designed interiors of the United Nations Building in New York, or, through its influence, in the design of public spaces throughout the world.

What was so special about Denmark that led to it having such an enormous influence on design? This exhibition aims to answer this question, and features the work of some of the major names of the movement.

Although it will be a selling exhibition, material has also kindly been lent by the National Danish Museum of Applied Art (Kunstindustrimuseum, Copenhagen), the Finn Juhl Foundation, and the architect and designer Nanna Ditzel.
