Walnut sideboard by Edward Barnsley, c. 1964, four graduated drawers in the centre, two shorter drawers either side in the frieze, above cupboards, the left hand frieze drawer baize-lined and fitted with compartments on two levels, a small sliding compartmented section above.
Height 35½" (90cm).
Width 65¾" (1,67m).
Depth 19¼" (49cm).
Provenance:- This sideboard was part of a suite of dining room furniture made for Mr. and Mrs. Hill, of Newcastle. The drawing by Edward Barnsley (no. SBD 120 in his Drawing Books) is dated December 21st, 1964.
