Provenance :-
Collection of Señora Doña Purificación Labat San Román, Santander, Spain (one). The Labat family came to Northern Spain from Paris at the end of the 19th Century and this table is thought to have been with the family before then.
A very similar table is illustrated in Christopher Payne, Nineteenth Century European Furniture, 1981 (no. 1418).
